Iconic New England publication to print Boston Marathon Official Program and Results Record Book
BOSTON - The Boston Athletic Association (B.A.A.) today announced Yankee magazine as the official publisher of the Boston Marathon.
One of the most recognizable and respected publications in New England, Yankee magazine‘s editors will collaborate with the B.A.A. to print the annual Boston Marathon Official Program and Boston Marathon Racer’s Record Book surrounding April’s Boston Marathon. The 124th Boston Marathon will be held on Monday, April 20, 2020, which is Patriots’ Day in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Looking ahead to the 2020 race, Yankee magazine and the B.A.A. will showcase unique elements of the competition. Among the early storylines include the launch of the Boston Marathon’s Para Athletics Divisions, which provide athletes with vision or physical impairments the opportunity to compete for prize money and awards. Other storylines include the John Hancock Elite Athlete Field (to be announced in the coming months) and the B.A.A.’s ongoing community engagement efforts to bring the benefits of running and healthy lifestyles to the greater community.

In addition to producing the Boston Marathon Official Program and Racer’s Record Book, new this year, Yankee and the B.A.A. will offer a digital edition of each publication for participants and their friends and family members to enjoy pre- and post-race.
