Request for Proposals: B.A.A. Website
BOSTON (9-July) -- The Boston Athletic Association seeks to redesign and relaunch its website, www.BAA.org, and has opened a request for proposal submissions. The current iteration of www.baa.org was launched in 2018 and has accomplished many of the goals set out at the time. As our organization has evolved and our commitment beyond mass-participatory events has grown, new needs have arisen.
We are looking for an enhanced website that:
- Provides a seamless, accessible user experience and easy-to-understand navigation layout that caters to our audiences.
- Is optimized for mobile use, with the ability to incorporate dynamic visual content.
- Has the ability to communicate effectively and integrate with Salesforce, our CRM platform, and our online portal Athletes’ Village.

All information provided in the B.A.A.’s Request for Proposal is proprietary and for this purpose only. The RFP issuer, (the B.A.A.) expects that all proposals will be delivered in a professional manner and per the timeline outlined.
The information and data contained in this RFP is confidential to B.A.A. and the agency to which it was sent. The receiving agency shall not disclose any information contained herein or any subsequent info supplied by B.A.A. without written approval from B.A.A. This includes, but is not limited to, news releases, public announcements, denials or confirmations, or any part of the subject matter of this request. In addition, the B.A.A.’s name shall not be used as a potential customer of the agency without prior written consent.

Established in 1887, the Boston Athletic Association is a non-profit organization with a mission of promoting a healthy lifestyle through sports, especially running. The B.A.A. manages the Boston Marathon, and supports comprehensive charity, youth, and year-round programming. The 129th Boston Marathon presented by Bank of America is scheduled to take place on Monday, April 21, 2025. The Boston Marathon is part of the Abbott World Marathon Majors, along with international marathons in Tokyo, London, Berlin, Chicago, and New York City.
