House of Possibilities
PLEASE NOTE THAT HOUSE OF POSSIBILITIES IS NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THEIR 128TH BOSTON MARATHON TEAM.
Do you want to belong to a “HOPeful” team raising money for programs and services that inspire greater independence and a more inclusive world for people with disabilities? Then you want to be a part of Team HOPe! Motivated by the tagline, “See what belonging can do,” House of Possibilities (HOPe) believes building a sense of community with access to educational opportunities and/or job training is the key to achieving greater self-sufficiency and acceptance. Team HOPe Athletes impact the lives of personable, determined children and adults who simply want the same opportunities as others. While new to the BAA Charity Program this year, since 2012, we have celebrated over 50 Team HOPe athletes crossing the finish line at the Boston Marathon. Fundraising supports programs for people with a variety of disabilities including autism, cerebral palsy, down syndrome and more. As a Team HOPe athlete, you’ll receive: access to a comprehensive training program organized by our seasoned team coaches, informative team meetings, team training runs, Team HOPe singlet and swag box, a race day cheering section for family and friends, plus a great Marathon Weekend celebration including a team pasta lunch and post-marathon celebration. House of Possibilities provides various resources and support to allow each runner to excel in raising funds to further our mission. Join us this season as we run to improve the odds of people with disabilities living purposeful lives with all of the tools they need to reach their full potential.
