BOSTON HALF ROAD CLOSURES

Streets and roadways which comprise the BHM course will be closed to vehicular traffic on the morning of November 10 from approximately 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The timing of the reopening of the roads will be decided by Boston Police and Massachusetts State Police.

  • Circuit Dr (From Blue Hill Ave to Arborway)
  • Arborway (from Circuit Dr to Pond St)
  • Jamaicaway (From Pond St to Pond Av)
  • Riverway (From Pond Av to Park Dr.)
  • Pond Avenue (From Jamaicaway to Francis Parkman Dr)
  • Francis Parkman Dr (From Pond Ave to Arborway)

NO PARKING will be posted and enforced on the Franklin Park side of Seaver Street from 12 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Sunday morning for shuttle buses to pick-up and drop-off participants.

The Course

The race begins at Franklin Park (Pierpont Rd). Runners will head towards Circuit Drive and continue all the way down to the Arborway. After turning right, they will continue through the Jamaicaway and Riverway. Runners will turnaround just before Park Drive and head back towards the Jamaicaway. They will then turn right at Pond Avenue and continue along Jamaica Pond to the Arborway. Runners will return to Circuit Drive before making their way to the finish line in Franklin Park’s Pierpont Rd.

  • Roads along the course and adjacent and abutting roads will be closed from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on race morning.
  • We understand that these road closures may affect your morning, and we thank you for your cooperation.
  • Please note that variable message boards, Boston Police, and race staff will be on hand to direct motorists to recommended detours.
